The project has a clear technological vocation that is an Iberian benchmark, with the aim of transforming the area into a technological complex based on sustainability and carbon-neutral criteria that houses the world’s leading companies in data management for their own processes of developing new technologies in the environment of artificial intelligence, metaverse, etc.

`In an increasingly global economy, associated with the exponential increase in the development of information technologies, companies are forced to increase the efficiency and performance of their logistics and distribution chains at all levels. In this context, changes to the Allotment Licence have been approved, based, for example, on the assumption that the concept of a warehouse as a building is no longer just a deposit for goods, but integrates sophisticated IT systems that help manage storage, logistics and the distribution of items to their final recipients.

The project intends to implement a technological complex on the plot, made up of different facilities associated with data storage, which includes, in addition to the data storage area, a centre of offices to support and manage the storage, as well as different technical areas that are essential for the efficiency of the activity.

To this effect, the complex includes 55.000 m2 of Data storage divided into 5 buildings with 3 floors each. Due to the delicate nature of the equipment included in the Data storage buildings and considering the high seismic zone where they are located it was decided to provide the Data storage buildings with base isolation by supporting the 3 floors over 54 high damping rubber bearings. The buildings included in the logistic park are mostly built with the recourse to prefabricated elements.

The project includes 2 main phases. The objective of the first phase of the project is to obtain the necessary construction permits and to that effect, BEWS has performed a detailed basic design to define all elements of the several buildings included in the project. Phase 2 starts once the construction permits have been obtained and will include the detail design of the elements and the definition of all necessary details to allow the construction of the logistic park.
